Seismic Response of a Large LNG Storage Tank Based on a Shaking Table Test

In order to study the dynamic response of LNG storage tank under action seismic load and isolation effect lead-core rubber bearing, this paper establishes experimental model with reference structural form large-scale tank, test is obtained using a shaking table test. Simplified mechanical models non-isolated isolated tanks are proposed responses corresponding calculated Newmark-beta method. Under waves different acceleration peaks, results show that (a) more excitation directions wave can lead greater displacement (b) bearing has damping on but it an amplifying tank. Comparing simplified test, found change trend same. The spectral characteristic curve them not large, which verifies effectiveness model.
